    Blu Ray compression

I wondered if anyone could explain why when i back up some blu ray movies, that instead of the compression being 90-95% it is sometimes 65%. When I play it back its no better if not worse than an normal dvd disc.

    Cheers

What are you compressing to DVD5? I recently backed up Angels and Demons which is a 30gig file to DVD9 720p(8.5gig) and playback is fine picture quality is good. More info needed.
