    9.3.1.9 and 9.3.2.0 crashing

    Hi,

With the update to 9.3.1.9 as soon as I put a BR disk in the program crashes. Also tried the Beta 9.3.2.0 and get te same thing. No problems before .1.9

Log attached, thanks for the help in advance!

Check to see if your graphics card drivers are up to date.
Or try disabling all gpu codecs and switch everything to software.
Also what antivirus software / internet security software do you have?

Please do a firmware update, thanks.

BTW, did you get the crash when opening Blu-ray disc or the blank BD-R disc?

        Hey,

Updated the firmware and same problem. It crashes when scanning a BR disc.

        Updated video card drivers.

        Anti-Virus is Avast.

No issues before the last update...so something in the update did it?

Thanks for the help so far!

Try adding dvdfab to avast's exclusions list.
See if dvdfab crashes again. Does your Internet provider use some sort Of Internet Protection program ?? Also make sure that you are
Running dvdfab " as administrator " Might also check your firewall
          Settings too.

When it's reading a BR disc.

Uninstalled, restarted and installed 9.3.2.1, still crashed.

              - Excluded in Avast
              - Running as Admin

Before I think it was 9.3.2.0 there were no issues.

Not sure what you mean by that.

                  Protection from what?

No one else is having these crashes when a disc is being read?

OK so I figured it out...the BR Drive went bad.

I gave up trying to figure out what was (what I thought) wrong with DVDFab and purchased another BR copying program, it did not crash but just there at 0% and never went anywhere...ok..that's odd...then I tried dragging files off a DVD and again just sat there...thus bad drive!

Installed a new BR drive...then no drama.

But..wonder why DVD Fab would just crash every time? Obviously it did not like the bad drive?

Cheers everyone for the suggestions though!
