No Menus / Tracks when opened in VLC

    Hi all,

Normally I just use the copy function and do a "full disc" copy. I can then open that in VLC and have access to all of the original menus. Never been an issue.

Now whenever I do a copy VLC is unable to recognise any tracks etc, it'll just play the first track it finds - so for a TV series, just the first episode it comes across. There doesn't appear to be any menus, and the track listing in VLC is completely unavailable as if there aren't any others.

Tried all of the options I can find for "full disc", and played with "customize" as well. For the life of me I can get it to work.

This has been attempted with roughly 6 difference Blu-rays, and both V9 and V10 of DVDFab.

I'm assuming I'm missing some new feature or obvious setting?

    Thanks

Do you have the latest version of VLC - http://www.videohelp.com/software/VLC-media-player
Maybe try reinstalling the media player.

Yep, latest version of VLC and they were the latest builds of DVDFab (v9 and v10).

            Hi,

It's the problem of VLC. Not DVDFab.

VLC can play the Blu-ray but the main title only.

              Right you are. Very strange.

I've downgraded VLC to an older version I'm almost 100% sure was working. For some reason it made no difference.

I've always just opened the directory via the Windows context menu. However I've just discovered if I open VLC and manually "open disc", that appears to work.

Something's changed. No idea what. But at least I can get back into the copies as needed.

Thanks for the replies all. Very much appreciate the help.
