Copy the full bd50 to hard-drive - i then start the compression and it errors this has happened both on dead mans chest and at worlds end ... within like 5 mins of starting... haven't had this problem with any other movies but these two... anybody able to get these compressed?

I had the same problem with Dead Mans Chest. I copied the full movie to an ISO file and was going to compress the main movie to a BD25. Take a look at which choice the menu has chosen for you. I beleive it was #4 and had a listed play length of 8 min. 34 sec. Not quite a main movie. Try #1 at 2 hrs. 40 Min. Use the preview panel to make sure this is the movie. I had no problem compressing to another ISO after that. I then used Image Burn to write the ISO to a BD25.
