Disney 5.1 uncompressed 48kHz audio - what is this?

So I have a Disney Ratatouille disc which has a 5.1 uncompressed 48kHz audio track. What is this? It's apparently not Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD (or else I would think it would say that it is). Is this an audio track that can be played on a "regular" Dolby Digital / DTS-capable audio receiver (i.e, one that doesn't support Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD) or is there some special capability my audio receiver would need to support in order to play this track?

It's also referred to as the PCM audio track and your reciever will have to have HDMI input to support that and also 5.1 and/or 7.1 channel output. I'm learning about this stuff myself and since the economy went downhill I put all that on hold but from what I've read that it's all kinds of awesome.
