Main Movie MP4 not working

Got a new laptop -- HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop - 15-bl152nr

Downloaded newest version of DVDfab.
Regular copy of DVD works fine, but MainMovie - MP4 starts the process and immediately dings as completed.
No errors, no file permission issues. Folder gets created, but file doesn't show up.
What could cause the program to think it's done in an instant?

These are movies that I have already ripped as main movie, but kept them in original DVD (.vob) format.
I mention it to eliminate any conflicts with file protection, Cinevia, etc. Movie I tried to convert to MP4 is Aeon Flux.

My main PC works just fine -- been using it for years.

From the log file, you were converting Black Hawk Down - BD - Movie Only to MKV.

Please disable GPU in Common Settings to convert again.
