Dvdfab crashes while opening disk

I have two movies that crash dvdfab. i have not seen this crash in any other movie as of yet. the two movies are The Hangover and Fight club. both movies give a "DVDFab is the all-in-one software package for coping Blu-ray/Dvd and converting video file. has stopped working" No other movies have caused this in the past. I am using:

dvdfab 6.2.2.0
vista 64
LG BH08LS20 V.2.00

no log is given because program closes first

any idea's?

Same set up (pretty much), same problem (pretty much)

Except I have the CH08SL10.

DVDFab will read the disk for a couple seconds, then stop and act as if there is no disk in the drive.
