I've recently started using the compression to save space and find the quality excellent.
I've been compressing to bd9. For the most part it works well, however i've noticed that if i want to skip or go back by clicking a point on the progress bar, I lose the video on some films, sound is playing but the screen is blank.
for example ultraviolet is one film that does not skip at all. Valkerie is another BUT only the last part of the film. if you skip anywhere in the first 90% of the film it's fine but skipping to the last part loses video. Any chance of someone looking at this? i've tried viewing with windvd 9 and 2010. both the same.
