    "Process Completed Successfully!" NOT

    Hello,

I just tried the "Blu-ray to Blu-ray" (Full Disc) option.

The program scanned the media, but then after only one second notified "Process Completed Successfully!"

The only thing it has done was creating an empty folder on target hd.

After restarting, it doesn't not even recognize an inserted BD media!

    Same after un- and reinstallation.

    What's wrong??

    Thank you.

That BD is not a mounted image?

No, original BD. Reproducible with different BDs.

Is the BD showing up in Windows Explorer?

Yes. And plays fine with PowerDVD.

You may try to change I/O mode in settings -> DVD / Blu-ray / Read

I tried the three options, it did not work. And was a little complicated:

As I said, a BD in the drive is only recognized one time after installing the program. (then when pushing start it notifies success after one second but has only created an empty directory)

I changed the I/O mode and had to restart the program -> no BD recognized in drive ("Please insert Blu-ray disc or choose Blu-ray folder/image file" stays in Source-field).

At the same time, the Setting DVD/Blu-ray/Read has changed to only DVD/Read ("Blu-ray" has disappeared). Weird!

Could this be some kind of Registration - Trial User - Expired - issue? Some registry error? I thought HD Decrypter would "Never Expire"?!?

So HD Decrypter does not support 'Blu-ray to Blu-ray - Full Disc"?!

Why is it called HD Decrypter then?

                    Ask the developers.

You really can't complain about what you don't get in a FREE version!!!

Yes, I can complain. And with good reason!

The developers themselves promote DVDFab HD Decrypter with
"It copies entire DVD/Blu-ray movie to hard drive... It also comes
                      with full Blu-ray support.".

So if the 1-Second-Success behaviour, combined with the false and
everlasting "Please insert Blu-ray disc" after the first restart, and the lost
Blu-ray options, arent' bugs in the program, the developers could at least
                      write something like:

                      -----
                      "Process Completed Successfully!

                      Just kidding, you tight-fisted fool.

We promote DVDFAb HD Decrypter as Freeware and
with full Blu-ray support to trick our users."

Make sure you read the BOLD as it explains what the Blu-ray to Blu-ray does for the free version

You can also install the new as it has BD+ support or give a try

?! This announcement has nothing to do with the problems presented.

With 7.x of DVDFab HD Decrypter the issues seem to be solved.

Whereby, according to the "About... Welcome to DVDFab" window the
DVD to DVD option has already expired. Odd!

DVDFab 7 has been updated to recent but the DVDFab 6 has not been so that would be why DVDFab 7 works for newer protection on the free version so yes what I did post does so have something to do with your question as for the expired for DVD to DVD if you not buy that option and your trial has expired then you do not get another free trial for that option but if you paid for that option give this link below a read and try what is suggested
