i have copied rambo using main movie with version 6 software to ISO.

your last log looks weird it says rambo is one part of it and monsters inc in the next bit.

it seems you only have 256mb ram installed, which is not enough for blu-ray.

o.k. so why can i burn certain blu rays and not others? is it just my pc is old and crap?

can i upgrade my pc without wasting my time and money?

I thought i had to have at least 50GB of empty space on my hard drive which i do.

          thanks

Fab's required specs for Bluray to Bluray, of course more is better.

              System Requirements
              • Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000 (32-bit/64-bit)
              • Pentium II 500 MHz
              • 512 MB of RAM
              • 50 GB of Free Hard Disk Space
              • A Blu-ray Drive
              • Internet Connection

o.k. since I'm new to most of this stuff and learning on the fly. is it worth upgrading my RAM and hard drive or a waste?

I'm all IDE now and bought a cheap SATA card so i could "try" this out and my LG blu ray burner could work.

                any info is appreciated.

                thanks

The ram upgrade will be necessary, not sure what HD you have to make comment.

Honestly, if you are going to get into Blu-Ray, I would suggest that you look at upgrading your whole PC.

I agree with Gregiboy as Blu-ray is an intensive task on the computer and I think a minimum of a dual core CPU with at least 2GB ram for that.

o.k. thanks. I was looking at upgrading my pc anyways. probably just get whole new one cause this one is IDE, about 6 years old and as you can see, many parts of it are not sufficient.

I'll post what I'm thinking of getting and can you look at the specs and let me know what you think?

                        thanks

o.k. getting into blu ray and need to get new pc just cause it's old. please check out what I'm looking at getting and let me know what you think. already have LG blu ray burner. Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

                          should i get better processor?

                          RAM o.k.?

                          Hard drive o.k.?

                          thanks
