    [Solved] Unhinged

    Hi,

Made a full disc copy of Unhinged (Bluray). Initially had several failures but finally got it to succeed making a copy by using DVDFab (12.0.0.3) to make an ISO and using ImgBurn to make the disk.
All seemed fine, until I tried playing the movie. Got a message about not being an authentic version.
"Dear customer, The disc you've inserted cannot be played due to copyright restrictions. Please visit ...or online store of choice to purchase a genuine copy"

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Try upgrading to the latest version (12.0.0.7), and also post your logs. Since this is a new release, could be some java protection that is fixed in the latest release.

When I do 'Check for Update' it says I'm at the latest version (12.0.0.3).
Downloaded it via offline installer. Trying now.

Please download the latest v12.0.0.7 from our website and then install it to get update manually.

After that use the new version to copy again. If still got the same message when playback, please post the dvdfab_internal log session for the movie, thanks.

After the manual update to 12.0.0.7 the copy/playback worked fine. Thanks!

Any reason why I had to manually update? Usually it prompts me when I start the program that there's an update. Also, choosing update from the program's menu didn't work.

There was a known update issue in the older versions, which has been fixed in the new versions. Sorry for the trouble.
