Precious crashes dvdfab

Even on the 6.x version, Precious crashes dvdfab during initial scan..

This is all I get in the logs.

The same for me. DVDFabPasskey also gives similar results:

Send the info files to Fengtao using Fab's report feature. Since it's a new release it probably has new protections. Include a link to this thread.

How can i use this feature, if the program crashes when I try to use it?

When the initial scan pops up click cancel, even if Fab doesn't open the disc it can still send the info.


Edit: BTW try beta 7012.

I used 7.0.1.2 and it had the same problem, but someone already posted a problem with that beta and I did not want to repeat.

You may try new Passkey version.

The old 6.2.2.0v will open it in main movie. At least it did for me.
Region 1 disc, non Blue Ray.

Out of curiosity I downloaded and installed a trial version of a popular decryption tool that runs in the background. I then ran DVDFab 6.x. It displayed the message that I needed to disable this tool before proceeding, but I ignored the message. DVDFab opened the Blu-ray disk Precious, ripped it, compressed it, and burned a DVD without any problem. Apparently this tool is able to remove copy protection that neither DVDFab nor DVDFabPasskey is yet capable of removing.
