Please send us some files from the original movie disc.
We need those files that are in the disc volume EXCEPT those .m2ts files under \...BDMV\Stream, zip it and upload it to our FTP site.

Just purchased Battlestar Galactica (1978) blue ray. I got the exact same Java Protection error. When I saw the message I thought now that is pretty cool I no longer have to email and request a fix for this type of error, its all automatic. Now I see this post from over 2 years ago... not good.

I pulled out my BSG 1978 BD and opened it up in DVDFab and got no errors. My blu-ray is labeled the 35th Anniversary edition:
Battlestar Galactica: 35th Anniversary Blu-ray Release Date August 6, 2013. Blu-ray reviews, news, specs, ratings, screenshots. Cheap Blu-ray movies and deals.

My DVDFab is 12.1.1.4 set to copy "full disc" to BD50.
Is your BSG 1978 blu-ray the same or a different release?

My BSG version is "The Remastered Collection" and comes with BSG 1978 and the short Galatica 1980 TV Series.

I rip disc using MKVPassthough, and go thru the process of selecting the separate episodes per disc. They are ripped to hard drive and played/networked to my JellyFin app on my individual TV's.
