Problem with main movie backup of "Precious" and "Law Abiding
Citizen" to BD9 1080P and BD25 using 7.0.1.2.
Win XP SP3 on a
AMD Phenom II X4 940
3072 MBytes Ram
ATI Radeon HD 3650
and a
Intel Core i5 750
4096 DDR3 MBytes Ram
ATI Radeon HD4670
No O'clocking
Blu Ray Players & Writers(Burners)
2 Pioneer BDP51D 1 OPPO BDP83
1 Pioneer BDR-203 1 WH08ls20
All with Lastest firmware
Used IMGBurn to create BD Folders & Verbatim BD-RE & DLs at 2.4x & 4x
speed.
The problem occurs in attempting playback.
The 2 pioneers only display "Load" while the TV screen displays
"loading" then "Play" but freezes on "play".
The OPPO BDP83 will play the BD9s, but there is at least a 14 second
delay between EKD and the response for any action such as "skip
forward", "skip backwards", "FF", and "RW".
Tried all combinations of the following:
- GPU Acceleration = Enable & Disable
- All 3 PathPlayer options
- With & Without HD Audio
Finally, I used another decryption tool to copy the 2 Movies in
question to my HD. Using DVDfab 6.2.1.8 & 6.2.2.0 & the decrypted
files, I was able to produce Backups that would play on both of my
standalone players without a hiccup. Skips, FF, & RW worked
flawlessly. After-wards, just to satisfy myself, I went back to 7.0.1.2
and reproduced those same 2 movies and the original problem still
existed.
To make a long story short, 7.0.1.2 has it problems.
BTW, below is graphic card info. However, if I enable GPU
Acceleration, the resulting backup will have pixilation thru-out.
Graphics Chipset :
ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series
Supported Video Codecs :
DXVA_MODE_H264
DXVA_MODE_VC1
