Blu-ray to blu-ray capabilities

Hi everybody
I've read with interest the features on BD to BD copy software.
In order to back-up my blu-rays onto 2 x BD-R 25 (BD50 are still too expensive), I d like to split the main movie into 2 parts.

Is it really feasible with that SW ? My feeling is that only a perfect copy is feasible OR a compression with a loss of quality (?). The required mode seems to exist on DVD to DVD (selection of chapters to split the original movie).

I should have indicated that I was talking about long movies (E.G duration of 2h 30), which main file m2ts is bigger than 25 GB !

This feature is not available in Blu-Ray yet. Sorry, we have no information on an ETA here.
