    Best bitrate for Blu Ray?

I have Blu Ray Ripper and I want to avoid any video loss. What is the lowest bitrate that I can use without any loss. I know that if I use too HIGH of a bitrate I will have the disadvantage of more HDD space being used without the benefit of increased quaility.

I am trying to run the MP4 (H.264) through Pinnacle Studio 11.0 but it keeps telling me "error opening video file"

for the "Pinnacle Studio 11.0 error opening video file" error,
have you tried Right-click on an empty space and select Quick Import. You can then navigate to the file you want to import.

and for the lowest bitrate for no loss in quality would be "lossless" compression method
