what have you tried when using dvdfab in order to copy these discs ??
full disc main movie, clone mode or ripper mode. also what brand of blank discs are you using ??
it might help if you post the dvdfab internal log files.
I usually use Clone but have not had any problems copying entire discs recorded with my Panasonic 850.
I've also recently used RIPPER to extract some programmes from multiple discs to combine into one and also had no problems there either although those recordings were done on my previous model from about 5 years back

The discs can be copied only if converted in the Panasonic unit first, however in the raw "DR" mode the discs CANNOT be ripped.

But why would you want them to be in DR mode which is incompatible with any other devices?
I have everything recorded auto set to convert to HG so that its best quality and ready to put on a disc. Once the disc is burnt it can be copied as often as you like. If you don't want to waste a disc use a rewritable instead of a write once.
There is no purpose or need to burn content to discs in DR mode so the fact that DVD Fab cant rip them is irrelevant
