Full Disc Compression enabled for Blu-Ray to Blu-Ray?

I'm asking because when I went to back up a recently purchased Blu-Ray after updating to 7.0.4.0 I noticed on the Full Disc option at the bottom where it tells you the size of the disc before and after the process said something to the effect of -BD50 : Quality 56%(41.162GB->23.12GB). This was in Full Disc mode not Main Movie mode.

This was caused by the default output size in Blu-Ray to Blu-Ray options being set to BD25 1080P. When I set it to BD 50 1080p output size it went back to normal- BD50 : Quality 100%(41.162GB->41.162GB). This was as of 7.0.4.0. Before it has always said BD50 : Quality 100%(xx.xxxGB->xx.xxxGB).

Just wanting to know if this is full disc compression that was not in the release notes because it's in beta. Did not try to see if it works as I thought I would post here first before messing with what might be a bug.

I'm 99% sure it's a bug and I'm seeing the same thing, thanks for catching this.

Edit: ok I'm 100% sure, I just copied a full disc to an iso and it's the same as the original 27.3GB...

There is a similar bug with the main movie option, when you click remove HD audio the original file size and the output file size both changes but stays the same as each other.

      Hi DharmaBummed69,

It should be a bug, but "Full Disc" compression is almost finished, and should be available in recent beta version.

      Best Regards,
      Fengtao

fengtao thanks for that update about full compression coming soon. You guys are great. Now my question is this what is the plans for the compression just the extras, and audio or video to? Also if it is full compression of the movie if you guys have tried it and just beta testing it inside the office does the video still look crisp as 1080p should?

On another note I know your woring on making the compressed DVD5's and DVD9's work on standalone dvd players any news on that front?

          Thanks for any information.
