              Hi Hide,

When did you try DVDFab with RED_BIRD_2D_F6(Japanese)? What's the error (cannot be opened)?

Also, could you please post the internal log file?

              Thanks.

              Best Regards,
              Fengtao

                Hi all

I'm new to blu ray and DVDFab.
Just bought Avatar Blu Ray Disc (RED_BIRD_2D_F6) and installed DVDFab 7.0.4.5 (23/04/2010) and tried to open the disc.

                It says - Open Blu-ray source : E:\[RED_BIRD_2D_F6]...

Then a pop up message - Internet is required to open this Blu-ray disc.
If you have firewall software installed, please configure it to allow DVDFab to access the internet.

I have configured all the network settings correctly as the application can check for the update, but I cant figure this out.

                Please help.

                Thanks

Alright like fengtao just asked the member who posted before you with this title and region could you post Internal logs for DVDFab they located

                  C:\Documents and Settings\your username\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

The logs are simple text files that can be opened with Windows Notepad if you want to read them. If the size exceeds the forum’s attachment size limit, you may need to delete older entries or copy and paste the relevant ones into a new file. The log files can be attached to a post using the "Manage Attachments" button below the editing box.

dvdfab_internal.log Attach for all problems. Time stamped, most recent at the bottom. Please edit to include only the most recent or relevant log session.

Thanks this will help the developers with the updating as this is a new BD+ protection and every region country has multiple Blurays with different BD+ protection on them.

If you have firewall software installed, please configure it to allow DVDFab to access the internet.

I have configured all the network settings correctly as the application can check for the update, but I cant figure this out.
I had that sometimes and I did the same, check my Internet connection and all that. It may not always be the problem on your side. It might be the server that is down. So you need to check later again.
From my experience, when I get "Internet is required to open this Blu-ray disc" and my internet is ok, it means the server is down and no disc will work, no matter how new or old it is.

I used the option to copy it as an ISO
I mounted it with virtual cone as I do all my Bluray ISO's
                                Play them with POWERDVD
