    media not dected

I think the problem I am having with media not dected by dvdfab might be a problem with my blu ray drive.. philips bd-re bdd1001.. When I also try to burn an image with imgburn serately it also say no detectable media..

It seems to be a periodic problem...

My question is how can I determine 100% that it is my drive.. I have search for a firmware update but there is not one to be found.

    Any body have any suggestions.??

    Thanks

    John

I can help you to determine if it's 100% your drive or not. It's you drive.
What is your firmware for this drive, and what media are you using?

the media is bd-r and bd-rdl

I will get back to you on firmware. I have looked for any firmware upgrade for the philips blu ray drive and have found none.

I will post this later as I am at work now.

      Thanks
