    Blu Ray Burn

I was reading that it may be possible to rip a blu ray and compress then burn with a dvd burner?

My dilemma is that I have a blu ray drive but no burner.

You need a Bluray reader to rip the Bluray and then can use the BD9 or BD5 option to burn to a DL/SL DVD using a DVD Burner.

What is the brand/make and model of the Bluray drive you have?

Ok so it has a bluray reader and a DVD Burner so you should be able to do the BD9 and the BD5 option but you do need to use a Bluray player to watch them with but it does not burn to a blank Bluray if you not know already

Awesome - thanks for the clarification.

I am ripping Wall Street as we speak. I did BluRay > BluRay Main Movie, will that produce ISO?

And - would you recommend a blank DVD brand for me to buy for best result when burning the rips we spoke about?

no you need to select the disc/paper icon next to target to get an iso check out the highlighted part of the screen capture I attached to know what to select

As for the Blank DVD to use I use Verbatim DL DVD+R made in singapore for the DVD9 and then I use Taiyo Yuden DVD+R for all my DVD5

Can you take a look at this? I am going to do ISO and for some reason, DVD FAB Says its picking the 480i ?

Are there any other recommended settings that you can suggest for me?

              See attached.

It looks like title 2 would be what you are wanting for movie only as sometimes with some movies DVDFab will select the wrong title set for main movie.
