    problems ripping bluray

Has anybody else had any problems ripping blu-rays since they've updated to v7.0.4.0?

I was using 6.x and had no problems ripping from a blu-ray disc and saving it to an ISO on my HDD but ever since I did the update I haven't been able to. I'm not sure if I'm not giving it enough time to decrypt the information or not but it seems to be locking up. example: trying to do main movie only of "The Proposal" down to BD25 and save to ISO. One time it got to 8%, another was 22% and I got lucky enough for it to get to 78%. But each and every time it seems to hault. my MB/s disappears and my "time remaining" shows all 0s (000:00:00, or however it displays time remaining). My blu-ray drive occationally flickers a light. I eventually try to click cancel. When i do the program starts to not respond and eventually i need to end the task within task manager.

I am using a LG BH08LS20 blu-ray drive and it's been updated to the latest firmware offered from LG's support. I am using windows 7 - 32 bit OS.

I had the same exact same behavior in version 7 trying to rip No County for Old Men to iso. Went back to version 6 and it ripped with no problem.

funny that you mention that.. No country for old men was the last successful bluray that i backed up right before i upgraded to 7.

i really want to keep version 7 for the sake of the updated decryptions but if i can't get any other solutions for my issue, then i guess i will have to downgrade back to 6 and

There is no need to down grade as you said, you can keep version 6 installed along with 7 as they are in different folders and coexist together
