Media inserted isn not Blu-Ray!!

I've Burned Avatar and it took about 12 1/2 hours for the full disk. So I pop in a verbatim blank BD-R and it keeps saying "media inserted is not blu-ray" I've tried other blank disks from a co-worker.(I didn''t ask him the brand) and it still says the same thing any ideas? I hate to do this all over again for another 12 1/2 hrs.-BTW I'm using an LG rewriter

You might want to specify the LG model number and/or provide log files (see Help Us Help You sticky thread at the top of the forum).

Sorry-it's a LG-GGW-H20L and it has the latest firmware running in an HP pc that's Duo-Core 2.33 GHz with 4GB of memory and a 160GB drive that has 120GB free.
