    General Problem .udf

    An Original BluRay (The Dark Knight) (Explorer View)
    without UDF

    Copy of the movie 2012
    with UDF

    The Copy doesn't run on PS3 or any Standalone Player.

    Verbatim BD-R 25 GB 6x

    Burnt with imageburn. The programm adjust everything automatically because recognized it's a movie.

    I think the problem is the file system UDF of the copy. The original does not have UDF.

    How can I burn a bluray without this UDF?

    UDF is the file system on the disc so you can't burn a compliant Blu-ray without it.

    Be aware that there is a bug in Windows 7 regarding UDF.

      Thanks, but I get no error messages during burning.

      I tied the hotfix but windows says, the hotfix is unsuitable.

      Are your copies UDF ?

        I don't have a Blu-ray burner.

        A log from the burning might give some more clues on your issue.

          Hi DonkeyKong,

          When burning with ImgBurn, did you select "UDF 2.50"?

          Best Regards,

              Do the copy play with a software player on your computer?

                  do you have a BDMV & Certificate folder for the movie?

                  UDF 2.50 playback in a bluray player requires both of these folders.

                    @crackinhedz
                    Not it doesn't if it's AVCHD format.
                    However, I always have add CERTIFICATE option in ImgBurn checked.

                    @DonkeyKong

                    Please take a closer look at your ImgBurn settings.
                    In worst case scenatio, you can load your content into tsMuxer and re-build Blu-ray structure. tsMuxer will fill up gaps in a structure (looks like you have some)

                      Yes I have the original structure of a BluRay (ripped with DVDFab).

                      I try a new start ripping and then burning with dvdfab. However DVDfab didn't accept my BluRay Folder and don't want to burn it. Imagburn did it, but it's not playable.

                        Hi,

                        For BD25, it must have all BDMV folders like CERTIFICATE.

                        For BD9/BD5, it's actually AVCHD, and there are two options in "Settings -> Blu-ray to Blu-ray". If you want to play the backup with software player, you need keep CERTIFICATE, and if you want to play the backup on standalone player, you should not keep it.

                        I suggest to try latest 7058beta again to see the result, maybe it's a problem of old version.

                        Best Regards,
