    BD50 to BD25 Compression

Trying to backup Transformers Disk 1 with blu-ray to blu-ray option and BD50 to 25 compression with remove HD audio checked.. After scanning I get Quality: 61% (37.740 GB ->23.145 GB) then I press start it says no compression necessary and the temp folder becomes 37.7 GB to large to fit on a BD25? Is this movie not compressible down to BD25? Am I doing something wrong?

I had the same problem. I found that if i skipped the scanning process and just clicked start, that the problem was solved. Give it a try, let me know if it worked.

I tried that myself when I started having this problem. Public Enemies took 30+hours to compress and was only 1GB smaller than the original disc. Went from 42.5 to 41.3GB.

I don't think the BD50 to BD25 Full Movie is on version 6. I think that's what he's talking about. I should add that I've had the same problem as the poster on a few disc's. Baraka and Masters of Horror Vol 1 off the top of my head

              Dear all,

Please try DVDFab 7067 to see the result:

If the problem still exists, please post new dvdfab_internal.log, thanks.

hi homebrew, I am getting this with all my blurays, The only one i have managed to back up is ( NEXT ) which was only 22g.
The latest bluray i tried was law abiding ctizen which ends up as 31g.
Have you been successfull with any backups

                      7.0.6.7 Compression not working

I am still not able to compress any Blu-ray movies. If I cancel before it analyzes the program just crashes. If I let it just go through it says no compression needed and I get a 37.5 gig folder.I ran a codec tool to check on my codecs as the log suggested it could not connect to the filter.I may just give up and buy some back-ups from blockbuster.

                      here's the log

Where did you get the Nero (nrg) ISO from in the first place.
