Copying Main Movie

I'm hoping that fengtao or one of the powers that be will read this thread.

On commercial movie discs that won't copy correctly in full disc mode, they will often copy perfectly in main movie mode. That's fine with me. Usually I don't care about the so called special features. Here's my problem. When playing a disc copied in main movie mode, the movie will keep replaying. That is, when the movie ends, it starts playing again from the begining again and again in a loop. Most people would say, "So what?". To an anal retentive person such as myself, however, this is quite annoying. In some future revision of DVDFab, is there any possibility of having the movie end after playing just once.

I would think that the "loop" is controlled by the dvd player and not the disc, not sure if you would have any control over that. Papajo

Actually that's not entirely true. If a disk doesnt have a menu or a set spot to stop it will continue. It is true some players set up when to stop or not to stop. But if only dvdfab main movies repeat and not the commercial disc then you can bet its the backup disc.

My Samsung player does the same, it will re-start the movie once finished (when movie-only is copied). I don't think that's a DVDFab problem.

I personally still think its due to dvdfab doesnt set a stop on the movie. Its no big deal to me.

I understand what you're saying. I wonder, though, if dvdfab could insert a stop at the end of the movie when 'main movie' opton is selected?
