I backed up the main movie Casino Royale and the file is 23.5 GB. But every time I try to write it on a BD 25 it is requiring me to insert a DL BD 50 media? I tried it again back it up again and it still is requiring me to have DL.

Well 23.5 is actually a little too big for a single layer blu ray. I believe the max (as Windows Explorer shows it) is 23.3. So you might need to compress a little or remove something else from the stream if compression isn't an option for you. If you're selecting the HD Audio stream for audio and nothing else, you could select the AC-3/6 channel or 2 channel audio instead.SPECS

Hi camaroling,
Please post dvdfab_internal.log file, thanks.
Also, you can try to change BD25 size in "Settings -> Write" to 23500 to see the result.
Best Regards,
