AVCHD not Bluray

    AVCHD not Bluray

    All discs i write come out as avchd not bluray
    i have looked at settings but cant find how to dictate the write is bluray
    Can anyone help or advise ?

    actually, only BD9 and BD5 are AVCHD and it's not changeable. I'm not sure why it's important (all players these days capable playing AVCHD), but you can add /remove CERTIFICATE folder in Settings (Green circle in top right corner), under heading "Blu-ray to Blu-ray" in a list on a left side of window. When open you will see "AVCHD (BD5/BD9) Compatibility Settings" - you can do it here.

      will try that now, but i dont use bd5 or bd9 i use bd25 !
      I know the quality is ok but i am having some problems with my sony player recognising discs. have tryed discs on my mates LG player and they are fine.
      any other suggestions will be good

        BD25 is in a BR format. Most likely you having media/player issue. You are right, your player having trouble recognizing disc, not content of the disc. Solution for it is in firmware update. Please visit manufacturer's website, download and install latest firmware for your player following manufacturer's instructions.
