I have a bunch of Blu-Ray backed up on my WHS (Windows Home Server). This was done in ISO format via [other software]. I thought that DVDFab might be a good way to cut down the size of all these movies, by using the movie only option. However, when I tried to do this, DVDFab could read the ISO fine off my WHS, but could not create a new ISO on that sever. I have not tried making the ISO on my machine, and then transfering onto the WHS because I only have a 60gb solid state drive in my PC, so space could be an issue.

its a whs issue. i belive you need to create it on the local drive and than copy to whs -

... or you can use small external drive as a temporary storage to carry ISO over, or even flash drive (they making 64 Gig size now days)sigpic

I could never get DVDFab to write it's ISO image to any Network drive, even if it was mapped. so I just rip to my system then copy to my NAS for use with my Popcorn hour..Comment

I think you will most certainly have a space issue here as disk space of 2x the size of the original disk size is required first for the temp file created during the process and then for the ISO.Originally posted by Rowanze View Post"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
