BD to BD - Fast forward, rewind cause crash - French Connection

Although overall the program is superb, I am posting this so the developers will know if there is a problem.

Movie: The French Connection
Mode: Full Disc

Movie plays OK.
Pause, skip chapter work OK.
Fast Forward or Rewind cause the player to crash.
Push Fast Forward or Rewind, the screen freezes. Pushing Menu or any other keys does not work. The only function that still works is eject.
I think I have read similar reports on this board.

Burn was verified OK.
Player: Oppo BDP83. Latest firmware update from Oppo web site.

the problem of fst forward has been brought up in several other post, but no joy.

i have the same problem when i use fab to compress full disk to 25g, and it happens on my sony, a friends hp and ps3.

if i use fab to create an iso, and then an unmentionable program to do the compression, it is perfect.
