Problem when buring disc with ImgBurn

I have been using DVDFab to rip the backup to the hard drive as a img file using full disc. I then compress the .img file to a smaller .img file that will fit on a single layer Blu-Ray and everything seem to work fine until I try to burn the 23GB .img file to the blank disc using ImgBurn as which point I get the error below.

Ok I would try ripping the folder structure instead of the iso and then compress the folder then burn and see if that works. I would also invest in one or two rewritable blu rays to test on, that way you won't be making semi-expensive coasters.

I have a couple re-writable discs and the funny thing about it is I don't have a problem with using them, but when I try BD-R I get the error message.

Ok then what kind of burner do you have and what kind of media are you using? Also I would post your imgburn logs here.

It is a pioneer BDR 205 with the latest firmware and I have tried using memorex, ritek and Verbatium without luck on any. Things just started not working today, wasn't having any problem before, wondering if it might be problems with the pioneer drive?

try plugging your burner into a different connector for your power supply. i had the same issue. ended up plugging it into a different rail on my power supply and it all wet back to normal.

This might seem like an obvious questions --> "things just started not working today, wasn't having any problem before"

Has anything else changes on your system in the last day or so ? New software/hardware etc... ?

It might be a bit obscure, however I've had things like this that have contributed.

                Best,

                Asbac

Yeah I would try all the things they suggested, or it could be your burner is dying.

I have the same Pioneer drive. I started having problems and made 2 coasters before I realized that the eSATA port in my docking station is going bad...
