    few questions

Hi People . Just got a few questions. I have to films which r blue ray movies. Casino royal, Quantum of solace.
What do I need to make these films work on normal dvd players when burnt from Bluray to dvd9 dual layer using Fab.What should I be ticking on fab menue screen.
The other prob im having is sorting audio. Quantum being the one im having probs with. I have opion for DTS-HD.German DTS/5.1,SpanishDTS/5.1,ItalianDTS/5.1 English AC-3/5.1.
On my 1st rip I just kept both English audio open DTS and AC-3 ,but on playback had someone talking all way through..
Next rip I got rid of AC-3/5.1 bUT LEFT DTS-HD5.1 .Durig playback on pc power dvd 10 I get no sound but this could be because i only have stereo speakers.
All my rips dont work on normal dvd players but work on my blueray.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks

They will not work on your normal DVD players, BR players only.

The developers are working on this feature.

On your audio, other users have had the same experience and I think that it is something to do with the way you are ripping and also your playback hardware.

I will leave this to someone that has had more to do with this.

How are you playing back your blu rays? If you're using PowerDVD the only way you can get the DTS-HD track to play(which is the one you want) because the AC-3/5.1 most likely is the directors commentary, is to make an ISO file out of the blu ray and mount it with DVDFabs Virtual Drive, which is free. It basically makes a drive out of the iso and its like you're reading the blu ray from the disc in your computer. I'm guessing you're trying to play back the M2TS file which won't decode the DTS-HD track properly. If you don't want to mess around with all that, you can download the free player, MPC-Home Cinema and play back the blu ray from the folder instead. ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre will also play back blu rays from folder but isn't free. Good luck.

I was playing ripped film using blueray drive in pc through powerdvd 10. The mounting thing sounds to much for me as Im not 2 tech savey.
            Will try Totalmadia software!!!
One other thing will the rip Ive got now with the DTS-HD work in a stadalone blueray player through my tv(will it have sound). If so I'll pop down to supermarket and buy a player.

Before you go out and spend the money on a BD player for the TV I would make sure you get sound using the computer as BD blank media does not come cheap. Give TotalMedia a try as it has played files with sound that PowerDVD did not play as I beleive you need to pay for the DTS-HD sound codec before PoweDVD will play sound. TotalMedia3 comes with that codec

Ooops you using DVD media but still get that to work first with sound before spending $100 plus on a BD Player for TV
