two movies blu ray to blu ray but different MB/s

I have lord of the rings and patriot games

patriot games is decoding at 6.6 MB/s

Lotr is at 4MB/s

what causes the change in speed?

was tinkering with physx and multip gpu stuff so wasnt sure if it was that.

Couldn't the amount of compression have a part to play in it as well?

i thought about that but why would the amount affect the rate? it should only affect the time it takes at a rate that the pc can do.
