    Help please!!! Error 123

    I'm very new to this and have just forked out for a new Blu Ray burner and a pile of Memorex 25gb blank blu rays.

    So far I've gone through 8 of them and each one is coming back with Task 2 failed! Error=123.

    I have no clue as to what I'm doing wrong does anyone have any tips as at nearly 15 hours per disc with each one failing this is proving a timely trial and error process!

    Below is the log if that gives any clues.

    Any other info needed I'll post it on.

    This is a burn failure in that the burn engine is not finalizing the disc.

    The pile of memorex you purchased were a waste of money.
    You might be able to save the ones you have done by manually having Fab or Imgburn finalize them but you will continue to have problems with the memorex.

          The VSO burning engine that comes with DVDFab stinks. Install Imgburn and use it, instructions here. http://forum.dvdfab.com/showpost.php?p=55&postcount=2

          The memorex discs I've found to be fine with my Pioneer 205, but you have to slow the speed down or they try to burn at 10x which won't work everytime.

            Could you please post any completed burn logs so we may look at them ?

            Also you may be able to finalize your disc's here is the procedure

            Here's a method to use with VSO. It looks complicated, but it's simple and quick.
            This method should still work, despite some changes in the software.
            There may also be some minor differences...depending on the os,
            DVDFab Finalize a disc
            Right click on the Fab Icon >
            Left click Properties >
            Left click Find Target >
            Left click PcSetup.exe >
            Left click on the + in front of Patin-Couffin driver >
            Now left click once to select your burner >
            Right click on the selected burner >
            Navigate to the bottom of the dropdown to Finalize the media

            There is also a method to finalize a disc with ImgBurn if you have it installed.
            Put the disc in your drive, open Img,
            ImgBurn > Tools > Drive > Close Track / Session / Disc.

              I not have much help for this but I do have a suggestion for you. Go and buy yourself a 25gb BD-RE (rewritable) and use that to test with so you not waste your hard earned money on those expensive coasters

                  Just looking over your post and noticed something in your logs

                  I am not sure what movie this was (THE BOOK OF ELI) maybe, but that file size will not fit on a 25Gb disc without some compression.

                  Also as suggested have you installed ImgBurn and tried to use it instead of the VSO burn engine and burn at 4x?
