We have tested "The Lovely Bones" USA version, and there is no problem to open and backup.

Please tell us your disc country, thanks.

Also, you can try to clean to disc and try again to see the result.

    Best Regards,
    Fengtao

      Fentao,

Sorry for the delay. I got caught up with some business trips... This is a USA Region Disc

I cleaned the disc as you suggested and the disc read correctly. The issue I have now is that on playback of my backup copy, it hangs at Title 2.

Similar issues here with Lovely Bones here.

Bluray copy will not load or play.

Interesting though, I transferred the main movie to hard disk. The hard disk image loads and plays just fine, but when I burn it to Bluray from either the original or the hard disk image, the disk will not play.

          Hi joeclarke
First off your drive is in PIO mode, Open Fab Click the Green top right > General > make sure Check for DMA Automatically is Checked and also Click the Reset DMA to the right and restart fab.
Second install ImgBurn you will find it here with a tutorial on how to set it up with Fab http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=33 also try setting your write speed to 2X your logs show you were burning at max 4X , and I do not know how this could be but, your average burn rate was 14.01
Give these a try and post back

Yes, problems solved. The "Check for DMA Automatically" was already checked, but I reset DMA and rebooted. I didn't install ImgBurn, but used Nero and was successful in burning at 2x.

            Thanks for the help.
