In Fab settings, set all encoding to Software.

          compression problems

thanks for your help gregiboy, gosh I thought you solved all my problems, but noo, it is still switched off computer when trying to extract the main movie to bd25.
I copy all to hard drive then mount to virtual drive and extract from there
I even tried another movie and I get the same result

This is likely a heat related problem. Your PC will turn itself off if the CPU/GPU overheats to minimize any permanent damage. Recoding a Blu-Ray is very processor intensive and therefore generates lots of heat. This is a common problem for gamers so you might start by googling for heat and pc shuts off (or similar).

Some basic suggestions are to make sure that all PC fans are working, especially the CPU fan inside. Make sure the PC vents are not blocked and that the PC has adequate ventilation (behind a closed door = not good).

              overheating

Thanks for your info complication, my computer is home built into an old server unit and has no casing around it, but your theory seems possible, I am in the process of building a new one with quad core, maybe the twin core has not got enough power .
              Thanks anyway
