Dr. No "Process Failed" - Please help

    Trying to backup Dr. No.
So far: Created ISO on hard drive, Full Disc mode, uncompressed.

Now trying to compress to BD25 Full Disc Mode and create ISO on hard drive.
(Later I would use ImgBurn to burn BD-R)

DVDFab quit with message "Process Failed".

I have backed up other BD discs successfully, without encountering this problem.
    WinXP
    Intel Core 2 6300 @ 1.86 GHz
    1.00 GB RAM
    Software coding only
No recent changes to OS or system
No other BD software installed or recently added.

    Thanks.

What size is this file as it seems to be saying no compression is needed

      Thanks for quick reply.

Re: "What size is this file as it seems to be saying no compression is needed"
The logs do not give names for these files.
Not sure where I could find names (sizes) for these files.

      "Copy 00031.m2ts failed"
It seems process halted on file 00031.m2ts
This file is in BDMV\STREAM and size is 2,521,026 KB

        ccris,
Just in theory, considering both of your posts - problem with Avatar and this one - something else comes to mind.... Your error code with Avatar shows writing error, this one shows reading error. What are you writing to and reading from? Is it HDD? It might be dieing device you're having in your computer. Please check your hardware.

Distinct possibility. I have just posted something similar in the other thread.

            Thanks for helping.

I can say with extreme confidence that there is nothing wrong with computer HDD. (I am experienced).

After failing on Dr. No, I tried backing up BD "It's Complicated".
This BD completed OK in "Full Disc" mode.

I then suspected my DVDFab installation had become corrupted.
I uninstalled all previous versions of DVDFab and reinstalled latest version 7.0.8.2
I then tried backing up again BD Dr. No.
Process failed again, at the same exact file:
            Copy 00031.m2ts failed
            Task_1 failed! Error=102
            Process failed!

            Any ideas?
