AVATAR - Crash - please help

Trying to backup Avatar (shows as RED_BIRD_2D_WW)
So far: Created ISO on hard drive, Full Disc mode, uncompressed.

Now trying to compress to BD25 Full Disc Mode and create ISO on hard drive.
(Later I would use ImgBurn to burn BD-R)

DVDFab crashed and offered to send a report.
This is done by sending an email.
I found sending report not very useful, as all reports I have sent were bounced for "mailbox full". Perhaps developers could switch from sending an email to program uploading info directly to their server.

    So I am enclosing logs:
    dvdfab_process.log:
    13:13:47: Analyzing of DVD started
13:13:48: Analyzing of DVD completed successfully
    13:13:48: Copy process started
    13:23:44: Copy process completed successfully
13:23:44: Burn DVD folder (C:\DVD FAB Temp Files\Temp\FullDisc\UP_IN_THE_AIR\) started
    13:42:33: Task_2 failed! Error=112

    dvdfab_internal.log:
Not sure what to copy here as there are no headers.
    Perhaps the last few entries:

I have backed up other BD discs successfully, without encountering this problem.
    Vista SP2
    Intel Core 2 6300 @ 1.86 GHz
    1.00 GB RAM
    Software coding only
No recent changes to OS or system
No other BD software installed or recently added.

    Thanks.

    ccris,
your error code is issued by VSO burning engine, not DVDFab itself. I would strongly recommend for you to change your burning engine from VSO to ImgBurn. From your post I can see that you already having ImgBurn installed on your machine, so, please set it up to work DVDFab and ImgBurn together. Here you can find step-by-step:
That should take care of your problem.

      @ccris

112 HWS_DEVICEINITFAILED 12 // initialization of the writing device has failed

This is a funny one considering you are writing to ISO on your HDD.

Is there enough diskspace, does the target dir exist, is the volume name valid, etc, etc, etc.

        Thanks for your reply, IPopov.
In fact, I do have ImgBurn set up already, I followed the instructions I got from the forum. DVD/Blu-Ray/Write section shows C:\ImgBurn\ImgBurn.exe.

I have included the VSO log because the "Help Us Help You" instructions say "dvdfab_burn_vso.log Attach for all problems." So I did. Not sure why.

Hi GregiBoy, thanks for the reply.
"Is there enough diskspace" 721 GB left on drive

          "does the target dir exist"
          Yes.

          "is the volume name valid"
          Yes.

As far as I can tell, when compressing to an ISO on HDD, DVDFab first writes the "File Structure" in the Temp Files area. Only after the job is completed ImgBurn kicks in and creates the ISO file. The crash occurred while DVDFab was writing to the Temp Files area.

          Any ideas?
Perhaps completely uninstalling DVDFab v7 off my machine and re-installing?
          Or something else?

And to update my own posting:

Seeing that the process failed in "Full Disc" mode, I tried AVATAR backup in Main Movie mode.
            DVDFab crashed again.
This time I did not find any new entries in the logs so I can post.
It simply crashed and gave the option of sending a crash report via email.

            Any suggestions will be appreciated.

              @CCRIS.....

Is this only with AVATAR? Can you try another disk that you have done successfully before?
