    Hi rogo43 welcome,
My guess is it is the burn engine, are you using the VSO burn engine, if so you should consider downloading Imgburn and try that, I suspect that will take care of this problem.
if not get back to us.

      Yes that worked Beautifully.

However.... about mid way through chapter 5 of Black Hawk Down Bluray rip that worked perfectly the picture does this...

If i skip ahead to the next chapter the picture is fine but this will not fix its self.
      Any Ideas?

                rogo43,
instead of muxing what i did with this movie was split into two disc's, when you open the disc you can see two chapters copy each separately into it's own folder then burn to two separate disc's, I had no problems with playback

yea but its bluray i don't want to have two different discs i want the movie to be on one disc

Is there something i can do differently to make the movie work, be in 1080 with surround sound and be on one disc?

                  thanks

No, not really it's either mux it or split it, those are your two options that I know of.
unless some one else has any ideas.

I managed to successfully shrink Gran Torino onto BD25. Got 5.1 sound but no picture so wasted my first BD blank! Think I'll use an RE disc next time just in case. The point is my 6.1.1.8 almost works in shrink mode even though it took 15 hours and no video!

I didnt get no video, i just got scrambled video and then it fixes its self. But i did the new version and haven't had any problems yet. let me know how the new version works. i just did Casino Royale and it worked well.

I made a mistake. There was video so it did a prefect BD25 copy. Someone had slightly nudged the HDMI connector so it looked ok but lost video. So now trying my second one - Hannibal - just 12 more hours to go! Is this process faster for other people? I'm using a LG-BE06 external drive, loading an ISO from an external HD via USB. I think it the USB link reading the ISO that is slowing it down.

mine is the LG internal with SATA 3.0. yea mine takes about 8 hours but certainly the USB will slow you down. if you can use ESATA if you can it will be much faster
