When I have problems with the main movie I will try full disc. I have had luck that way. Then extract the movie only. I did Sherlock Holmes that way. I had a problem with a different title it was suggested I download VSO Inspector and scan the disc. I did that and it had read errors. I exchanged the disc and was able to extract the files. That is another thing to try.
