Just want to post this hoping it might help anybody who has had issues with blurays freezing or stuttering after burning.
This is the method I now use, after various failed recordings which thankfully has produced flawless blurays.
Select main movie -
Select 50Gb option -
Select remove HD audio -
Save as an ISO
Use Imageburn to burn at 2X speed
Use quality bluray disc ( I use TDK BDR X4)
Mount the ISO with DVDfab virtual Drive to check the recording.
I have found that occasionally when played back using virtual drive that the odd glitch appears but when played back in a stand alone bluray player has played perfect.
