    Burnt movies not playing

This started happening in one of the 7.0 versions.

This is the process I use.
Original Disc --> Full disc ISO (rip).
Load ISO --> Main movie to BD (burn) using ImgBurn.

The burnt disc will play for around 10-15 mins, then it freezes. It does this both in my PS3 and on my computer using PowerDVD.

Mounting the ISO plays fine with PowerDVD.

This leads me to believe, the ripping is successful, but something after isn't successful.

Obviously there are no errors, or I'd start off with that
Shy of listing every single option that is checked/unchecked. What information do you need from me to hopefully track this down. (Whether it's DVDFab or ImgBurn or my hardware).

I've tried 5 different Blu-rays, ranging from older movies to newer ones and the exact same thing is happening.
If I have DVD6 still some where I may give that a go and see what happens. Any input is appreciated.

OK the last part you listed was Load ISO --> Main movie to BD (burn) using ImgBurn. Can you instead of burning save the main movie to hard drive as ISO and then mount that ISO and check to make sure it plays back correctly. This will tell if it a DVDFab/rip error or a burn error. Also the logs located in documents-dvdfab-logs would be nice as well. All 3 logs are needed and only the latest logs for you latest try as well

I certainly can. Right now I'm having a DVDFab 6####(I'd have to check) version burn play (I just burnt it 20 mins ago). So far the movie is at 17 minutes (this same movie froze twice with 7#### today and yesterday before 15 minutes).

Going to need to get me a BD-RE here soon to test with, made quite a few frizbees..

Using a rip I made with 7.5.0.6 (Full disc ISO).
I then burnt it with 7.5.0.6 (Main movie only) - freezes after 15 mins or so.
Using that same ISO, using 6.2.2.0, Main movie only - works perfect.

(6.2.2.0 was just the version I happen to have still installed).

Using that same Full disc ISO, using 7.5.0.6 i ripped the full disc to main movie ISO, then load the main movie ISO and use PowerDVD, it froze (at the exact same spot as the previous freeze that burnt to disc).

I'll work on getting logs here shortly.

yes those logs will be helpful as it seems the problem is when it gets compressed and the developers would need the logs to see if this a bug or not

No as they read over the forum and will see this. I not understand Blu-ray at moment as I just started buying them so not really any help until I learn more about the copy process for them

I have this problem too,but am using 7.8.0.2.have tried with gpu acceleration on still same.tried with software on exactly the same.only once have i managed to compress bd50 to bd25 with out same freeze occuring,it funny that it only does it one rip,my 3 others i ripped to hdd worked fine and was able to compress them fine too.

kannor try extracting the iso to a folder then mount the folder and compress it to iso bd25.it work for me

zia: What do you mean mount the folder? And I'm guessing you mean you're using version 7.0.8.2 not 7.8.0.2 so try updating to either the official release 7.0.9.3 or the beta release 7.5.0.6 then try again.

I'm having the exact same issues with 8.0.0.2. Less than 5 minutes in it's frozen.
