    Video locking

    Hi,
    a first time problem I can't seem to solve. I saw that this new version can cope with interlaced discs, it does, well almost.
    I can play the "movie only" back up from the start only, but any attempt to use fast forward or next chapter causes the video to lock.
    Audio keeps going and the counter is operating normally. To start it again, I have to re set the player from the beginning.
    Chickenfoot is a music BD live recording. The whole disc was ripped to a hard drive first, then "movie only" selected and burned from there to BD 25. The ISO file plays perfectly from the hard drive via TMT3.

    it seems nothing wrong with your content, it plays well on your computer. You are using good media with reasonable burning speed, and you are using reliable soft to burn. What left is your player. When last time you updated your firmware? Also, if not too much trouble, can you produce and post here BDInfo report for the burned content. If you don't have BDInfo, please google, dounload and install this helpful and useful utility...

      Thank you for your reply.
      I should have said the same thing happens on my OPPO BDP-83 free standing player. I have recently looked for a firmware update for my Pioneer BD-RW 203, but I will look again.

      I have DVDinfopro, I assume that is what you mean. I will run the disc and see if I can post the results here.

        no this is not what I'm looking for. Please google BDInfo (it's free), download and install. Then, open your disc (the one you have made and it doesn't work right) with BDInfo. Program will generate report, please attached it to your message. Thank you.

            Yes, this is exactly what I was looking for.
            There's nothing out of ordinary that I can see in this report. Only I can suspect is improper HD Audio handling either by Fab, or your player (improperly handles HD Audio stream mastered by Fab). I'm pretty positive, removal HD Audio will solve this issue ( I doubt you need it anyway ). This experiment will require burning another disc, and you have to select "Remove HD Audio" option in DVDFab before compressing/burning.
            You might want to sit on this thread a bit longer and see if somebody will come up with second opinion.

              Thanks IPopov50,
              I will re burn the disc without the HD audio. I usually like to use it as I'm lucky enough to have a superb Onkyo receiver that sounds awesome with HD audio. If it's removal cures it, well, Dolby digital 5.1 isn't awful by any means.

                Just to let you know that removing the HD audio didn't work. I've checked the firmware is up to date in both the Poineer BD burner and in my OPPO stand alone player. Not to worry, I'm sure Fengtao will sort it out sometime.
