    PS3 Expierence

Well, tried my first backup using beta 6.1.1.8 but would not play on my PS3. Just downloaded 6.1.2.0 and will try again.

Anyone else checking thier movies via PS3? Result? Settings?

    Thanks

I been using another program to compress a full blu ray movie to bd-5/bd-9 and bd-25. I too have a PS3 and they do play AVCHD discs, however if you have anything in the BDJO folder,i mean like 0000.bdjo,0001.bdjo.. Anything at all,you will get a error message on the PS3.. To my knowledge there is no way around this, supposedly a PS3 gets confused when trying to read this.. However if you do a full back up to bd-25 the playstation 3 plays this fine. The problem mainly lies with bd-5 and bd-9 full backups. I hope this will answer some of your questions.

Do you mind sharing which programs did you use for that? I've tried DVDFab (6.1.2.0), and although the video and audio quality is nearing excellent, the subtitles doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for your trials regarding this. I was not able to get the latest version to work with my PS3 (Primary Player). Also tested on my DB30 Panasonic with no luck either. I was very hopeful with this product to do my backups but in the end I will stick with my current 3 program solution. To date in testing - no coaster VS 6 DL coasters using DVDFab.
I'll wait till Blu to Mobile comes out and retest if possible. Thanks again!

correct, i meant success copying a full disc and then doing a main movie with compression.

Are you streaming to the PS3 or are you buring to disc? I'm trying to stream my backups to the PS3 but having no luck. Streaming DVDs work just fine though.

Me? I burn to disc. I have streamed dvd's using WMP just to see if I could and had no problems other than having to disable my firewall but never tried streaming .m2ts not really sure what you would need to stream that file type.
