    Can't Open The Matrix

Have tried several time to open the Matrix, either by inserting the disk or finding it by selecting it in the folder. I was able to find it that way and bring up a menu, but when I start the copy process, it fails..below is log.
Any ideas why this movie won't open/copy?

Yea, seems to be some issues with certain movies..working on Harry Potter 3 right now and it won't open it either.

I had the same problem with Prince of Persia. However, I was able to decrypt it using Passkey.

Just downloaded and ran Passkey for Harry Potter 5, and still nothing. Passkey states DVD not opened, and DVDFab just sits there and spins.
That blue window pops up, trying to open source, but can't. When I select my BD drive as source and it scans again, sometimes it will open, other times not. But even when it opens and I select movie/audio..it errors out everytime.
I just tried all Potter disks and all my Star Trek BD disks and not a single one will open.
Really need some help form the pros here, something is not working right.

            Hi sac130e
Could you please post your burn log files???
Also how many burners do you have on your system?
Do you have ImgBurn installed on your system? If not install it http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
Open Img> Tools> Filter Drive Load Order and post what is found.
Have you also tried disabling your anti virus and try to open your disc's??

I don't do any burning, just copy an ISO to my HDD for viewing.
I have the DVDFab package, so doesn't Imgburn install with it?
Have had no problems in past with other disks...just a select few..for now.
My BD player is LG and brand new still.
I installed the original non-beta version 8.0.0.5 and was able to open one of my Star Trek disk, ists running right now, so lets see what happens.
maybe the beta I had installed was bad.

              Thx

No, Imgburn is not bundled with DVDFAB you must install it separately.

So we have no logs to view

No, Imgburn does not install with it, and if you are having problems with your ISO's then maybe you should install it and use ImgBurn to do the ISO's.

My BD player is LG and brand new still.
Is this the burner on your system? If so is the firmware up to date?

Ok, thought ImgBurn was part of the package. But ImgBurn is only for making copies to burn to DVD..yes? DVDFab is still capable of making ISO plus audio copy for streaming from my WHS?
I had installed Clown BD and it came with a version of ImgBurn and maybe this screwed up the install of the DVDFab.
If ImgBurn is required for DVDFab to work, should this not be stated in the install instructions?
Don't know where to look to verify FW for LG player.
Good news..I am on my second Star Trek disk and seems to work for now.
Will try the other ones that didn't work next.

                    Thx

Yes and No, ImgBurn also makes Iso images from Fab rips, burns both DVD and Blu-Ray disc's, the list goes on.

I had installed Clown BD and it came with a version of ImgBurn and maybe this screwed up the install of the DVDFab.
The reason why I asked you to install ImgBurn and post your Filter Drive Load Order is, that when installing some programs, (they want to be the bully on the block) and have the drive all to itself and not share it which may be why some disc's never open.
If ImgBurn is required for DVDFab to work, should this not be stated in the install instructions?
It is not stated as it is Freeware and cannot be bundled with Fab, but most of us seasoned vets here install it and use it instead of the Vso bundled with Fab.
Don't know where to look to verify FW for LG player.
Thats why burn logs help but, you can also see firmware version of you drive by opening Fab without disk in drive click drop down box on target and you see your drives and firmware version.

Another thing is to keep your system up to date with all service packs and updates.

Everything seems to be working good now. Once I reinstalled the 8.0.0.5 and got rid of the beta..works fine.

                        Thx
