M2TS from Blu-Ray Copy plays Only Audio

I have a problem: When I try to play m2ts files from Blu-Ray Copy such as Book of Eli, City Island and many others, they seem to be recognized as audio only.

    Specifics:
-This happens on my computer, but some other computers can play these m2ts as video.

-It happens with KM Player and WinDVD. Media Player Classic opens but will not play the file. The most recent version of PowerDVD seems to play it. (I have tried changing every codec and other setting I can imagine on KM Player to no avail).

-mkv files ripped from the same movie with BluRay Ripper always seem to work fine.

-I can convert the problematic m2ts file to mkv and it works fine (though sometimes audio is out of sync)

-With some movies, Blu-Ray Copy will make m2ts files that work just fine for me. But this is based on the movie, not specific instances of running blu-ray copy on the same movie. I will never get it to make a usesable m2ts file with Book of Eli, for example.

    - I do not get any error messages when BluRay Copy is running.

Specifics of my setup: using a toshiba satellite laptop with an external usb blu-ray drive, windows xp.

[unfortunately I bought a lifetime subscription to blu-ray copy instead of blu-ray ripper - if i had gotten ripper, I wouldn't be having any problems, and would just be using mkv files. However it's strange to me that there's this difference in resulting files from programs made by the same group. DvdFab customer service would not let me switch my subscription to Ripper. And I do not own (or like) PowerDVD]

    Here's my Log File:

    Try using VLC media player?

    How to play .M2TS files

...they mention that some m2ts files have problems as well, so your problem is not with DVDFab...its the m2ts file playback itself.

Amazing. VLC works. After a couple of months of trying various players, settings, etc., somehow I thought I had tried VLC.

      Thanks!!!!
