    Issues with new releases

I’m having similar issues backing up my blu-ray of Get him to the Greek, as I, and many are having with Iron Man 2. Copies have Jitters, pauses, audio sync issues. I’ve made backed up copies of many of my blu-ray discs without any issues. These two new releases are having issues. I tried cloning and then burning to BD9, even tried ripping and making a mkv file, all results with the same issues. Same results on two different computers.

Try this, rip to a folder on your hard drive, keep the setting on BD-50, and leave it like its supposed to be, not taking anything out and not compressing. When its done, select the ripped folder as the source and somewhere else on your hard drive(or a different internal hard drive preferably) as the target and select whatever compression you want and take out whatever you want, extra audio, subtitles, etc. Also, set your A/V codec settings to all software. Also, don't check the Remove HD Audio box, leave it unchecked, and check the output after each step with a software player to see if everything is fine, this will help narrow down whats wrong.

Most of those steps I've tried, the BD50 clone, ripped to a separate hard drive, kept HD audio. I've yet to try changing all the codec settings to software. Thanks I'll try that but so far the other steps you mentioned didn't help.

In common settings-Protection-Blu-ray what are you removing and keeping for protection and features?

Everything is checked, which must be the default settings, I don't believe I've changed anything there.

just to let you all know, i have been trying different versions of fab to try and get rid of the jitters. I have successfully created a full disc bakcup of get him to the greek and ironman 2 using Version 7.0.9.0. No jitters or anything wrong that i have noticed.

A quick update. Changing the A/V settings to all software did not correct the problem.

Did you test the backup after you ripped it but before you compressed it? And if you did, was there issues or no? What are you using for a software player?

I've been unable to test the uncompressed mounted img. I have powerDVD 10 Mark II which seems not to play the power iso mounted img. What other software could I use?

Add Robin hood to the list of new releases that work copy correctly with the current version. I continue to make backup copies of my older blu-rays without any issues. Is there a fix in the works?

I have no problems with those movies you mentioned for Blu-ray and DVD so no idea what kind of fix you looking for.

If you have old versions of Fab still on your computer....Try using 7.0.9.0. I successfully made back up's of several bluray movies without any issues including ironman 2 and get him to the greek.

nycoppia: Try mounting the iso with DVDFab Virtual Drive, and if that doesn't work maybe you should switch to ripping to folder instead of iso, then check the playback quality with MPC-Home Cinema which is free.

The uncompressed BD50 clones of these discs seem to play back fine from the hard drive. It's when they are processed to BD25 or BD9 when the problems show up.

There are a number of people and a number of threads on the DVDfab forum reporting the same problems with the same blu-rays. I just copied two older movies and not had any problems at all with those. It these new release over the past week or so that are causing issues for a number of people.
