Help!!! "Failed to burn Blu-ray"

    Help!!! "Failed to burn Blu-ray"

    I tried to copy one original blu-ray disc (example: prince of persia) to a blank blu-ray disc using the full disc option. It copies the original blu-ray perfectly fine but won't burn to the blank blu-ray disc. It says "Failed to burn blu-ray. Would you like to try burning again?"

    Please help.

    Please post your logs as directed in the Help Us Help You sticky.

    Also, try ripping to hard drive as full disk, set it on BD-50 so there's no compression, and

    don't take anything out, leave everything the way it's meant to be. After it's done

    ripping, select the folder as the source and someplace else on your hard drive, preferably

    on a different drive, as the target and remove what you like and set compression to

    what you want.

    After it's done, download and run the program called Imgburn and use the write

    files/folders to disk option and drag the whole BD folder into it and click the start button

    at the bottom left, it will automatically recognize it's a BD video disc and it will set the

    options accordingly. After it's done, try it out and let us know how it went. Good luck.

                  Well, the logs are littered with things like "Can't Read Disc", Illegal Request, LBA out of range, and poor quality disc detected or drive error, so I'm not sure what exactly is going on but it you should try burning slower, like at either 4x or 2x and it seems like your drive doesn't like those discs with Media Code Ritek-BR2-00, which are made by a few people, Ritek obviously, memorex, etc. which are all cheap media. Try switching to a better media, also you drive could be dying.

                    Get better blank media and slow the burn speed to 4x and not max also only needed the most recent logs not all of them

                      Stay away from cheap media like Memorex!! I suggest buying - Verbatim BD-R LTH try burning at 2X

                      Check your lower and uppers filters try link below see if this helps

                        If I also may add, make sure you are using setting Bd25 as out because there is no way that this:
                        2010-10-03 15:41:56 Info Scanned files #481, folder #22 - total size 30851118600 b. (28.7 Gb.)
                        2010-10-02 15:56:31 Info Scanned files #475, folder #24 - total size 40443995633 b. (37.7 Gb.)
                        2010-10-01 18:56:41 Info Scanned files #346, folder #26 - total size 42562312859 b. (39.6 Gb.) is going to fit on a single layer Bd disc.
                        Also try switching to ImgBurn as your burn engine it is Free you will find it here along with a tutorial on how to set it up
                        Also your drive has a firmware up date visit you computer manufactures site and install the latest firmware, make sure to follow instructions or you could render your drive useless
