8.0.2.4 beta and Iron Man 2

Though the new beta versions seems to have corrected most of the problems many have had with Iron Man 2, Robin Hood and other. I'm still seeing a slight pause in the very same parts that had jitters, pauses and audio sync issues. The slight pause that I'm still seeing is so quick that if you blink your eyes you'd miss them. As I said before I think it's at parts when it's going from one m2ts file to another. Someone else mentioned those may be parts of the movie that have optional contents.

Same results on two separate computers. I first made a clone to the hard drive with 8.0.2.4 b and then used the clone as the source to compress to a BD25 on an separate internal hard drive.

Tried it with both Iron Man 2 and Robin Hood, and again both had these real quick pauses.

hmm. try this i know in some cases spyware can cause programs not to run right.. download these free programs and do a full sweep





Also do this on vista go to start in the search part type in MSCONFIG and make sure that you have nothing extra running in the back ground..

and when was the last time you did a defrag and error check on HDD. if it has been a while i would suggest that also... try thee out and try another..=p

I should mention, when compressing I'm working with the main movie. Not sure if selecting the full disc will make a difference but I may give it a shot.

With a clean reinstall of 8.0.2.4 b and under video decoder selecting software instead of Cuda. I was able to make backup discs of both Iron Man and Robin Hood without any issues.

I have installed the 8.024 and experience that when I try to play the ISO packace using ny WD-tv live it start playing several minutes from the start and the film last only 13,5 minutes. I think that is a relative short film don't you?

What Video card you using? Is the driver up to date for the Video card as well?

It's a Nvida GeForce GT 220 1GB with the latest driver, 258.96. On my second computer which has a ATI card (3450, 512 MB) and the lastest driver, that too resulted in the same pauses in the same places until I also switched to all software, and that 2nd computer then produced a backup without any flaws. Only Iron Man 2, Robin Hood and GHTT Greek have ever given me this problem.
