    CUDA

    I've a e8400(core2duo-3Ghz) blu-build w/2gb(2x1gb) & a GT240 DDR5 512mb . Moments ago I started a back-up of PREDATORS-main movie-removed HD Audio .. The copy time est. ABT. 3hrs . I'm wondering if I switch to a GTX460 w/ 336 processor core would it greatly reduce copy & completed time . Help ?

    Hi, MERX2006,

As known, only NVIDIA supports the CUDA technique, GeForce GTX 460 is CUDA capable(you can check it here:http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_gpus.html.) But, what I want to emphasize here is that, CUDA is a choice of saving time rather than a promise. As the time spent on copying, burning and converting depends on your comprehensive computer configuration, the size of source blu-ray disc, the write speed you chose, etc.

All in all, a real strong computer will do much benifit.

    Sincerely Yours
    Malcolm Wang

      I've completed i7-950 build w/ 6gb (3x2gb) , gtx 460 768mb . Compared to e8400 the i7-950 Build is like the 2nd coming of miracles ..
